What are the advantages and risks of XML in Enterprise Development?
XML
receives abundant press as the language for new distributed business
applications. Providing
cross-platform communication, standardization, and data-driven design, XML
cannot be ignored. Microsoft’s
.NET platform offers us a suite of distributed and Internet technologies,
including XML. We’ll explore
those technologies, their advantages, their challenges, and their risks:

Dan Hermes, MCT, MCSD is President and principal consultant at Lexicon

The Greater Boston Visual Basic Learning User Group meets
on the third monday of the month. We discuss introductory topics in VB.NET,
VB6 and related technologies. The group meets at
Microsoft, 6th floor, 201 Jones Road., Waltham MA. Meetings are
